full tv schedule released. looks like more than half of the games will still be on rds but will be regional games

They probably give it to plek, because he's a leader who leads by example. The fact he doesn't speak so often means when he does speak, the guys listen already without the C.

Plus, he's got the best work ethics ever since he came here, on top of playing some of the toughest minutes in all the nhl. He's respected inside and outside the club by players and the direction, which also enables him to be a bridge between the locker room and the coach. That's one function of a captain Subban would be counter productive at

Check stats, only Jay mcclement ever plays more pk minutes than him, either per game, per season, or percentage of minutes, and if you compare how successful Toronto penalty kill is compared to Montreal, and pkeky doing lots of short handed goals... . He's also top 10 on defensive zone face offs and quality of competition. Despite that he still has good defensive and possession stats and scores 20 goals a year like clockwork.

His only real weakness is face-off really.
