I don't like Backes, but he definitely is playing his best hockey of the season right now. Though he's failing to finish on his scoring opportunities, but everything else he's performing much better with, hopefully he can keep it up, his body would be important in a playoff series.

Honestly, now that I'm looking more at the team, I think Boston did well, we have a great defense, stud goalie, two stud lines, a solid 4th line. 3rd line has been our biggest problem, and we have two new faces for it.

The only thing I'm not happy about is that we easily could've had Simmonds instead of Johansson for the prices they both went for.

Heinen may hide on the 1st line
Pasta could go back to 2nd line since it was clicking before his injury
3rd line of Johansson-Coyle-Backes is pretty fucking big lol

Or Sweeney values the extra depth and wants a big 3rd line with Heinen hiding on the top line

I prefer it to be the lines tbh, I like more balanced top 2 lines.

Team looks beautiful imo now that the 3rd line may actually not be garbage for the first time this season lol
