For example, when the Rangers just had a 13-3 period we gained something like 3 points on Washington and 5 on the Islanders. In today's NHL it's not easy to catch teams ahead of you, especially with how far back you are.

one win streak for philly and a not so good streak for caps/bruins there a game or 2 behind ... over 30 games you have 10 game spans u make up 2 games per you catch up n pass them
