dont feel comfortable with phillips/kuba

Yeah, I didn't put it in the right order maybe.. I would like to see :

Phillips - Karlsson
Kuba - Gonchar
Karlsson - Campoli / Lee

I remember Clouston playing Karlsson with Phillips when Volchenkov was hurt, it worked pretty well imo. And this way, we have 2 very solid pair. I don't like Karlsson and Gonchar together, they are both small and have a little difficulty defensively.. I guess we could play them together if we are losing in the game.. but not a full game.

Gonchar will be on their top defensive unit. He's their best player.

So ? Alfredsson is our best forward and he wasn't playing on the first line all season long. I remember the line was something like :

Michalek - Spezza - Cullen
Foligno - Fisher - Alfredsson

You don't necesserly need to put your 2 best def together, if they doesn't do well together.. I think the 1st and th 2nd pair will be pretty much equal, so they will both have ~ the same 5v5 toi. I don't like his lineup either though, but it's not because of Gonchar is not on the 1st pair..

gonchar on 2nd pairing? you guys are nuts he was on the pens 1st with guys like goligoski letang etc etc he was there for a reason

I would want Karlsson to learn from Gonch. But we'll see. Any way Sens can buy out Leclaire and sign Niemi??

Sens arleady bought Cheechoo contract at 3M.. they won't buy out Leclaire at 3.6M I think. And anyway, I don't want Niemi.. he's a "ok" goalie.. And I think Leclaire will have a good season
