Fransons defensive lapses have nothing to do with phaneuf. If anything he's helped franson this year. I've lost count how many times franson has pinched at the absolute wrong time or shot right at a guys shin leading to a 2 on 1 or even a 3 on 1. His value is purely as an offensive guy

If he were good defensively he'd be worth 7. A right handed potential PP QB is worth 5 at a minimum though.

Again, no rumor, but Evander Kane is a healthy scratch tonight for the game in Vancouver (his hometown). Another guy who has been in trade rumors for a while.
