i just dont like when the nhl makes a decision strictly based on outcome.

if the boston defender didnt get hurt, the refs dont even call a penalty. look at the hit, no refs arms go up. and if hes not hurt, theres no disciplinary hearing.

how is that right? punish the play itself, not the outcome

this is probably a suspension they really nailed, 1 game is perfect accountability for the follow through on a blatant boarding

had they punished outcome it would've been more

but it gets no games and not even a minor penalty if he isnt hurt

something is wrong with that

Just a reminder this has all happened before.

1 game was fair. while i don't agree that it was an intentional hit to the head based on the way gryz positioned his body, i do understand that it caused an injury and the hit -did- contact his head, so i think 1 game is fair
