sedins said they prefer to play with players that play hard and get them the pucks,
it takes toll on their bodies playing with vrby, cuz they have to do much more work compared to burrows/sutter/hansen like players

but yeh, if i was willie, i'd tell the sedins to suck it up for 10-20 games with him, and hope they dont get injured
and trade vrby's ass while his value is high.

Yeah, but we don't have anyone outside of burrows that can do that properly with them and he doesn't get to play with them.

Vrbata is a floater and doesn't do shit on any other line.

Will be interesting to see if Sutter can do anything away from the Sedins. He was invisible in all the games he played without them so far (1 in regular season, a bunch in pre).

Funny how a lot of Canucks fans have turned on Vrbata already.

He was our 3rd best forward and 5th best player last year and because he hasn't produced in 5 games he's already getting shit on.

He hasn't even played much differently than he did last year, just that he hasn't buried his chances like he usually would. He could easily have 3G1A instead of 0,0.

It's just the kind of player he is, he isn't very noticeable unless he's on the score-sheet.

If it continues for another 5 games, then something is wrong. He's scored 30 goals before without the Sedins so it's not like he's totally inept without them.

It's cuz of his shitty attitude, and not giving it 100% like horvat. If you watch him play, he didn't play anything like last season, he's disinterested. You could notice him even when he didn't get any pts last season, but now he gives it 10% at best. Hell he can't even shoot anymore, he fanned more shots last night than Raymond falling on his skates.

Horvat had a horribad night, but he still looked better than vrby, a player that's supposed to be best after the twins on the team. That tells me sth

You think he's not trying in a contract year? Like he's okay with just throwing away millions and millions of dollars?

ok

He will still get signed as a top 6 forward in other teams.
He knows the nucks aren't gonna re sign him. A team willing to trade for him isn't gonna risk low ball in him too hard just to lose him for nth.

Idk, I watch how he plays, u watch him as if he's trying hard like last year in season so w/e.

Who's going to sign a 35 year-old that looked lazy coming off a 30-40 point season. Based on this summer, that's like a PTO player.

On the other hand, if he tries and gets 60 points, he could be looking at $5M for at least 2 years.

He's a skill player, not a checker. A lot of the time, yes, he is going to float. He just needs to bury the chances he gets but he's a little snake-bitten right now.

I'm not saying he's a shitty player now, he's still a good player. Im questioning his effort.
I know he's a skill player, but last year he didn't just float.
He fan on a shot? he battled for it back. He didn't give up on a play so easily like he is doing atm.
