I don't see a problem with it. Pre-season is for experimenting. He's shuffling guys around trying to find out who can play where/whats available for spots.

He said he'll remember the line for "down the road". He doesn't like young players in general, the chances of him playing a sophomore with 2 rookies are slim.

Here's the lineup:

D. Sedin - H. Sedin - Sutter
Baertschi - Horvat - Vrbata
Burrows - McCann - Hansen
Prust - Cracknell - Virtanen

Edler - Tanev
Hamhuis - Bartkowski
Hutton - Sbisa

Miller


Hopefully not indicative of what's to come in the regular season. Sutter should be centering the 4th line.

Although he is a RH shot so it's worth a try.

Sutter with sedins seemed to have failed. However, Sutter with McCann seemed a lot more effective.
If McCann somehow makes the team, there's the option of putting sutter on his wing, and sutter can also take faceoffs if mccann struggles on the dot
but damn, must be really hard for benning & WD to decide who to cut and keep with a log jam of players.

Honestly, I just want Hutton to make the team, he actually makes a huge impact consistently.

I didn't like Sutter with the Sedins but Willie "really liked it". However, if they want Dorsett back in the lineup, they'll have to scratch one of:

- Cracknell
- Prust
- McCann
- Virtanen

Assuming that McCann and Virtanen have made the team, it wouldn't make sense to scratch them. Also Prust was a targeted acquisition in the summer so I assume they want him in as well.

That leaves Cracknell, however scratching him leaves us short a center, meaning Sutter has to move back (Vey seems to have taken a back seat at this time).

But then we're short one LW 'cause Higgins is injured and they sent Gaunce down. Dorsett or Hansen can play LW but it'll just lead to weird lineups.

Risky for Corrado... But Hutton outplayed him and deserved the spot

So I was wrong, Virtanen is scratched lol. That means Cracknell stays in the lineup so Sutter can stay with the Sedins.

Nice that we are able to throw all the plugs on the 4th line. Give them like 8 minutes and hope they just tread water.

They'll prolly stall virtanen's 9 games as long as they can, so instead of sending him back to whl he can go to world's/Utica playoffs jajaj

So happy we got rid of Kassian.

Has not even played a game with the Habs and he is suspended and left with a broken foot/nose.

We removed players with bad attitudes, are going for a youth movement, and as a result the culture is changing.

Not saying this will be a great year... but we really are headed in a good direction.
