So he said “Nobody cares about Edmonton so nobody hates them. It’s that simple.”

He later apologized for it

He apologized today.

Said he was ignorant and genuinely feels bad about what he said; he was just frustrated about continuously having to defend himself, his teammates and his team in general.



Obviously he meant what he said, because it's true, but he doesn't have that kind of personality so it's surprising he did take that shot.

In iinterviews he still seems like the nicest guy, though.

Can't wait for tonight's game. I'm just watching every series without cheering for anyone, but with all the expectations the Canucks have as the 1st seed, this series is pretty good!
