I actually liked Gillis.

Though I agree 1st/grabner for ballard was atrocious.

Seemed like Gillis just had terrible luck with his trades. He'd trade for players who were doing at least decent and then they'd fucking flop and do terrible here

Well I don't know. I think the only other trades you could label as bad would be a 2nd + 3rd for Bernier. I didn't really mind the 2nd for Roy trade. Other than that, the only trades that didn't work out weren't very costly when it comes to the assets we gave up.

e/ I guess he could have got more for Schneider (EDM did offer more). Whether or not he got greedy and didn't move Luongo earlier for a larger return, we might never know.

On the other hand, the Ehrhoff trade was complete wizardry and the Higgins and Lapierre trades worked out pretty well, too.
