I use windows defender which is free and never had any problem.

i have bit defender which is a paid for program its pretty solid ive had it for like 4-5 years now i think
they also have a free program i use on my 2nd pc seems pretty good as well

i use ad block plus on firefox idk it works pretty good lol

On my laptop, I pay for mcafee virus protection.
