Hall is a clumsy injury prone forward, has a bad attitude (apparently), and plays honestly a pretty one-dimensional game, and lol@being a hitter

Great skill, tremendous speed, but will have a massive price tag, overpayment is the only way someone lands him.

Hall is my least favourite player of their 1st picks tbh

He's young, and on a forever shit team at this point. I would have a pretty shitty attitude as well.
Overpayment is the only way someone lands him... which is the EXACT point why it's more worth it to trade him. Get more in return to set up a better franchise.
Why trade Eberle to get what he's valued at.. when you can trade Hall who's their best player AND knowing you'll get more in return then you give up.
Logical thing to do here appears to trade him imo

Lol @ Kadri for Hall that would be ridiculous.

Hall is worth far more than Kadri, a 1st would get me thinking but do the Oilers want more picks? Pretty sure they should be after players by now

I wouldn't touch Hall with a 10-foot pole for the cost the Oilers will want

Eberle for cheap is more my style, effective player, better price

Edmonton needs players, they need to ditch their idea of getting picks and setting up a dynasty cause its leading them absolutely nowhere.
They don't have the resources like teams such as Detroit, Chicago, etc to manage that.

There will be eager teams to pay for Hall that need to hit the floor for next year or who have a load of money to spend on players (Sens is the first team I can think of).

At best, Oilers have a 20% chance to get McDavid

Ya i know that last only have 20% and that basically if you are out of the playoffs you could roll first, i dont really like it imo i like the kne that favour bottom teams more.

Regardless i wasnt saying they are gonna have mc david just making the point that their first this year is going to be a great player.

Doesnt matter anyway because leafs or oilers the pick will be used poorly ;)

Ya im saying hall > kadri
Kadri =\= hall

Although i like kadris fit in toronto and i feel like hea a dedicated leaf and hardworker, i dont watch much oilers but hall doesnt give me this impression.
