I don't see anything about Stevens getting a trophy so he may have just been blowing smoke. Orr is far more likely. Paul coffey for offensive defensemen.

one of the NHL analysts said it - Hradek IIRC ? As per the name of the thread, it could just be a rumor (which rarely come to fruition).

Yeah, it's something to post here.. I'm just saying it's farfetched lol. With all the emphasis on player safety I'd be surprised if they made a trophy named after a guy who ended more careers than he inspired :lol:
