Why would beliveau be the lady byng he has almost as many PIM as he does games played iirc

richard is one of the most dominant goal scorers in the history of the nhl, look at his playoff numbers, considering the era and regular season he played in, his stats are ridiculous. and there have been many players who LOVED to score goals, but only one who HATED to NOT score a goal - and thats the rocket

there are actually very few trophies that are named after players. vezina is one of them, he also died in the middle of the season and ranks around top10 in goaltender history, so he's not a bad pick by any mean.

if the NHL reached out for stevens to be the best defensive physical d-man to name a trophy after, im seriously considering watching SEL instead
