I don't expect him to be shutdown, I expect him not to be a liability, and have to do something good on the offensive end every game to make up for how he kills you on the defensive end. We're doing fine at not allowing goals because the Rask/Halak combo is the best in the league.

Yeah the team needs more scoring, the young guys haven't worked out other than Debrusk, Injuries, Backes is trash, and Krejic is doing his get hot for couple games go afk for 5 thing. (To be fair he needs another forward) So I think we both can agree a trade is needed. Teams don't just give guys away for free, so what do you give up for a Panarin? Can't give them Debrusk or Charlie Mac, so the logical choice is Krug. Sell him as just what you keep saying he is, and hope they are dumb enough to bite.

Need to stack up now, Bergeron Krejci, Chara and Rask aren't getting much younger. This is the time to load up, this team should be Stanley Cup or bust this year and another 1-2 years after. Just going to have AHL players rotate the 3rd and 4th lines while our studs are getting past their prime? Doesn't sound good to me. There's a reason why there's only one goal scoring line on this team, additions need to be made.

Wayne Simmonds would be the perfect addition(not even homering, because I love him).

Here's a crazy thought Prone that will never happen, but I'd personally consider doing it. Offer the Jackets Rask & Krug for Panarin & the big bobrovsky. Would you do it? Bob's not having a super great year but he's crazy unhappy in Columbus, and needs a new team. Rask will likely never carry us to a cup in the playoffs, and I think will always kinda be stuck in Tim Thomas's shadow, so I think he could benefit from a scenery change as well.

I would do that, only because Gryzlyck is legit. I love Krug, but as long as we have one of the two we're good.
Also I think that would clear some cap cause Rask is getting $$$$$$$$$$$$$$, not sure what Bobrosky is getting, I'm sure he's not cheap either.

I can definitely agree a shake up is needed, but if the Bruins were to trade Krug I would really hope gryz or mcavoy is moving the puck at least close to the same level as krug because our powerplay looks like doghsit at the blueline without him

We keep Krejic cause #1 Guild Krejic obviously. #2 He's on a 7.5mil a year contract (lul) so what team is going to consider taking that on. #3 He does always seem to peak at the right time and get hot in the playoffs.

Backes is complete garbage for sure, but then again at 6mil a year and 34 yrs old what team is going to take that on? No one but us is that stupid to give him a contract like that.

I believe Gryzelcyk & Mcavoy if he doesn't pick up some crazy concussion history now can. Plus we can surely upgrade our top 6 if wr can get you in there selling Krug to other teams.

If he had scoring talent around him, he's well worth the money. He's the set up man, playmaker, slows the game down. His talent isn't that useful when he's stuck with guys like Nordstrom, Vatrano, etcetc. Even DeBrusk, with all due respect, he's not really a goal scorer, but Krejci/Debrusk/Simmonds or someone, that would be a legit line, and it's needed ASAP. They should not wait until the deadline to get someone, get them NOW.
