NHL thinking about adding a Scott Stevens trophy for best defensive/physical defenseman (lol) and make the Norris best offensive defenseman.

Or they could get less retarded writers to vote for the Norris. Maybe use the GMs or coaches.

Right now it seems like the voting is done exclusively by north-eastern writers that only watch highlights and look at the stat sheet.

I can't talk for other cities but pretty much every writer/radio guy in Vancouver seems like a moron... I don't see how they are qualified to vote for a major award.

thats the vezina and i like it that way.

i think that norrises could be voted on by coaches, but i think it'll be too much personal preference and old player voting etc etc


also, scott stevens trophy would be ridiculous. he was nowhere near the best or the most physical d-man in the league. if you want to give it to the most physical, atleast pick someone like eddie shore or seibert... hell, even big bird would be legit there, but giving it to stevens who wasnt very physical outside of his big hits... nah
