IF they sign brodeur, it's as a backup veteran to teach Allen and Elliott. Allen will get 90% of the starts and Brodeur will get 10%, a-la-devils-and-schneider. I get that he wants to play, but so did Hasek and he didn't cause this much drama. He quietly went overseas and played in lower leagues because he fucking loved the game.

The only place he would go is toronto. He wants to stay with his family who are all going to be in michigan.  I wouldn't dream of ruling toronto out but honestly, would you take a job there?
