They're choosing Toews because he's a forward and Canada has multiple defense

he is a solid player though

his leadership is overrated though

I think hes a great player, but i'll agree he is pretty over-hyped.

Its like throwing Stampkos on an NHL All Star team and pointing out how amazing he is when that All Star team wins the cup.

I think hes a humble dude with a good head on his shoulders, but some of the leadership vids ive seen of him in the dressing room are just him swearing lol

Toews probably the only center in the league id rather have than bergeron.

Crosby is the only exception.

Bergeron is not a franchise center. A line 1 center man yes, but not franchise.
I'd take Tavares over Bergeron.

And none of those guys have the balls to take control of a game like Toews did in game 5 and 7 against the Ducks.

Hell, as good as Crosby is he couldn't even carry his team past the first round. Dude is another concussion away from being done as it is.

Crosby's concussions were a spinal problem which is fixed. Hes not a glass head. And Toews plays on a stacked team. Pittsburgh had basically no defenseman left. And no depth. Malkin blows. Crosby is the only elite forward on the team half the time.

That being said I would take Toews over Crosby as my franchise center.
