I guess when Thornton leaves you can use Couture/Pavelski as your 1/2 but Pavelski and Hertl can wing. Also, you can pretty much consider Marleau an LW now.

The rest are scrubs that you might as well keep on wing if it means getting a much better center in Staal.

It's just better for him development-wise to be relied on as #1 in the ahl instead of playing backup or split starts with Andersen. You get to playoffs and there's a starter controversy, you have a goalie looking over his shoulder every time he lets one in.

Kid is 21 unless he turned 22 since last time I checked. He knows the deal.

yeah but idk i always liked lupul even when he was a 3rd liner on philly guy was putting up 20-25 goals a season
i figure he canb finish a lot better then somebody like raffl and look more comfortable then b schenn on lw
but offence is really the issue we need defense first of all :lol:
