It's not even close to be the same situation? I don't get what you try to justify with that comparison.

In a way the Danault hit is worse because it was pure garbage time, there's no explaining that it was a "hockey play". Clock was about to run out and he did a textbook charge.

Main difference was that Sergachev was able to spot Danault at the last second and absorb the hit properly, but he was vulnerable like Evans was.

Evans*** wasn't worse imo because it was clearly more of a "bang bang" play than this one

Sergachev had an extra second to adjust his positioning to actually make the clearance on the puck, so it makes Danault's lining up much clearer than Scheifele who tracked across the entire ice with Evans

Also, the biggest difference? Evans head down.....Sergachev head up.....Evans HAS to keep his head up

Hedman- 80pts
Malkin - 77pts
Ovie - 74pts

That's pretty crazy.
