I know it's a hypothetical but honest question for those who thought the Scheifele hit was dirty:

How many games for Danault if he injures a knee or shoulder or something on that hit at the end of the game?

He came from a "considerable distance" (watch the replay, picked up speed at the offensive blue line) and made a straight line towards Sergachev. The game was completely over, that hit would have done nothing to affect the game.

Two key differences, one makes the hit worse and one makes the hit better:
- Worse: he was in no way trying to prevent/score a goal
- Better: not a head target

For what it's worth, I thought it was clean by Danault, but just wondering how severe the punishment should be if there was an injury.
