Regardless of the underlying reason this is nice to see.

If you create good jobs your nation as a whole has strong consumer purchasing power, which is great for national and local economies.

In 1990 they employed 77k in michigan alone.

After 2 recessions, nafta, etc. Ford's employment number were are its lowest in 2009/10... so if you're interpereting numbers, 5 years would look great.
