Our cap situation looks totally fucked for next year. Those Dorsett and Sbisa contracts are becoming worse everyday.

Don't even have enough cap to fill up main roster spots let alone carry extras. Just re-signing Richardson and Kenins and bringing up Virtanen to replace Matthias puts us over the cap.

Since it's like impossible to trade our core guys, I'm afraid the only option we have is let go of Hansen and Higgins for draft picks and bring up AHLers to fill those holes :rofl:

I hope Andersen gets exposed in the worst way possible and the Ducks still make it to the SCF so we can ship Miller to Anaheim.

They'd probably just try Gibson as the #1 instead of that :rofl: Miller's numbers this year probably don't make him a very enticing target for other teams.

Matthias is going to walk anyways. Depending on Benning's thoughts on Gaunce, Richardson may walk as well.

How much cap space do we have?

Sbisa's contract will be praised if Sbisa can somehow turn shit around.

Dorsett i don't understand.. 2.5m for 25 points..

What troubles me is

Baertschi
Grenier
Corrado
Weber
Clendening

and 3/4 of utica is Ufa/rfa

3.2 currently, 4.2 if the cap goes up from 69M to 70M like some think it will.

Even if we replace Richardson with Gaunce we're still not in a good position (Gaunce is being developed as LW so I don't know if this is even possible).

4.2 - Gaunce 0.865 - Kenins ~0.925 - Virtanen/Baerstchi ~0.925 = 1.485 remaining

That's 1.485 for Weber, a 7th D-man and a 13th forward. Not even enough to sign Weber alone.

I wonder if Vrbata or Miller goes this summer.

Hopefully kb3 goes, wouldn't be too upset if Burrows went as good as he's been for us.
