Still I think you can understand the situations with new contracts easily. Idk why dx doesnt catch it

Same salary over 14 years = less cap hit
Same salary over 8 years = bigger cap hit

Agents pick and choose which contracts to compare their players to. Flyers just don't seem to want to push back.

Tavares came right out of his ELC onto that contract. Giroux has been dirt cheap the past few years. Once that Tavares contract is up, you can be assured he will make just as much

So you are placing him in the top 5 for C's arguably. Where do you place G then?
