Terrible comprehension on my part lol.

Thought the thumbs up was for Mitchkov when I skimmed through.

Flyers Sign Alexis Gendron to Three-Year Entry-Level Contract
https://www.nhl.com/flyers/news/flyers-sign-alexis-gendron-to-three-year-entry-level-contract/c-345433706
this guy was 7th round pick and he got traded mid season and went from 29GP 1.1 ppg/.75goals per game to 34GP 1.38ppg and .97gpg in and had 14g in 13 playoff games
seems like he can score goals finishing 2nd in the QMJHL and finished 14th in pts if he played with the 2nd team all season he likely could have been a top 10 guy in points and was only 3 goals back from top guy

https://www.nhl.com/news/philadelphia-flyers-roster-changes-for-2023-24-season/c-345363614?tid=281072352
Projected lineup
Scott Laughton -- Sean Couturier -- Travis Konecny
Joel Farabee -- Morgan Frost -- Owen Tippett
Cam Atkinson -- Noah Cates -- Tyson Foerster
Nicolas Deslauriers -- Ryan Poehling -- Garnet Hathaway

Cam York -- Marc Staal
Travis Sanheim -- Rasmus Ristolainen
Nick Seeler -- Sean Walker

Carter Hart
Samuel Ersson

adam kimelmans projected line up
i could see foerster/atkinson maybe playing off wing and sliding into a top 6 LW but i think they would knock out laughton more then farabee
interesting with york-staal 1st pair i was wondering if that's what the plan was to pair him with a vet guy like staal

prospect update
Denver Barkey (C) London Knights OHL 29gp 17a 27a 44p
Massimo Rizzo (C) Univ. of Denver NCAA 18gp 7g 24a 31p
Oliver Bonk (D) London Knights OHL 28gp 6g 24a 30p
Matvei Michkov (RW) HK Sochi KHL 29gp 11g 15a 26p
Cutter Gauthier (LW/C) Boston College NCAA 17gp 13g 10a 23p
Bryce Brodzinski (RW) Univ. of Minnesota NCAA 18gp 10g 9a 19p
Owen McLaughlin (C) Univ. of North Dakota NCAA 17gp 4g 11a 15p
Samu Tuomaala (RW) Lehigh Valley Phantoms AHL 26gp 7g 16a 23p
Olle Lycksell (W/C) Lehigh Valley Phantoms AHL 21gp 12g 7a 19p
Elliot Desnoyers (LW) Lehigh Valley Phantoms AHL 22gp 4g 6 a 10p
Alexis Gendron (RW/C) Lehigh Valley Phantoms AHL 14gp 4g 0a

Alexei Kolosov Dinamo Minsk KHL 26gp 2.34 .909
Yegor Zavragin Yugra Khanty-Mansiysk VHL 7 1.27 .952
Mamonty Yugry MHL 9 1.63 .945

rizzo+brodzinski are overages but seem to be putting up pretty solid numbers rizzo leads the ncaa in points
tuomaalo putting up solid #s in his first ahl season
lycksell bit older but still a prospect at 24 putting up solid ahl numbers
was hoping to see more from desnoyer he had a strong season last year
gendron seems like a goal scorer hoping to see him net a good amount but hes only 19 so hes got time to figure it out still

good riddance gauthier

jonesy and briere said this has been an ongoing saga, not an overnight thing.
made the deal while his value was at his highest, and it makes sense coming off the wjc.

he didn't want to be here, doesn't sound like too many people within the org are too bent out of shape about it. torts said it best, we don't want you. sanheim relayed the same type message.

i know absolutely nothing about the kid from Anaheim. right handed d man. 6th overall pick in 2020. plus a 2nd.

as for this season, it has been enjoyable to say the least(minus tonight).
torts has these guys playing hard. both goalies have been good, tk been good. glad to see tippett playing well also.
