Before I start the summary, I'd like to point out how smart I am:

@ CHI
- Sedins created more in this game but still couldn't produce. Wouldn't be surprised if they hit the score-sheet next game.
- The Sbisa - Bieksa pairing continues to suck and it's hard to understand why it still exists. Seems like 80% of their shifts are spent chasing in the D-zone. It also doesn't help that Willie often puts them out with the defensively weak 4th line.
@ WPG- We had an amazing start... nah April Fools, we played like shit. Love the team's resilience but these last two games are a good example of why it's just not a good idea to spot the other team a 1 or 2 goal lead before you decide to start playing. Still, would have been nice to get at least a point with Higgins just inches away from scoring late in the game.
- We created more than enough offense to win but were very messy defensively. Lack played well in the first half of the game despite letting in 3 goals, but the last 2 goals were very weak and pretty much the difference.
- Sedin line combined for 6 points (7 if you count Vrbata's assist that came when he was out with the Sedins). They produced enough, obviously, but they could have had even more; lots of plays and passes that they messed up that they usually wouldn't.
- Baerstchi could have had a couple points in his first few shifts but he went quiet after that. He also took two penalties but one was a good one and the other was a soft call.
- Not a great game for the Edler - Tanev pairing, Weber may have been our best D-man and Sbisa - Bieksa again spent most of their time in our D-zone (albeit Bieksa did make a nice pass on Burrows's goal).
Only 3 games left, all at home. Kings visit on Monday, obviously the biggest game of the regular season.
