Excited to see how he plays in a Canucks uni

This could be the acquisition of the decade maybe.

I don't really get this one. Shouldn't they just let him stay on his roll down in Utica?

With Higgins fitting in nicely on the 2nd line he's gonna end up playing with Vey and Dorsett or something loll....

Another reminder that the game starts at noon today.

Odd. Kenins played like shit last game but his line wasn't good in general. That crash-and-bang style that all 3 of them play is what makes that line work, and Baertschi doesn't really play that way.

Hopefully it works. Exciting to have Bo and Bart on the same line :P

Pretty likely now that the Kings make it over the Jets. Already ahead of them via the ROW tiebreaker.

Before I start the summary, I'd like to point out how smart I am:

@ CHI

- Sedins created more in this game but still couldn't produce. Wouldn't be surprised if they hit the score-sheet next game.

- The Sbisa - Bieksa pairing continues to suck and it's hard to understand why it still exists. Seems like 80% of their shifts are spent chasing in the D-zone. It also doesn't help that Willie often puts them out with the defensively weak 4th line.

@ WPG

- We had an amazing start... nah April Fools, we played like shit. Love the team's resilience but these last two games are a good example of why it's just not a good idea to spot the other team a 1 or 2 goal lead before you decide to start playing. Still, would have been nice to get at least a point with Higgins just inches away from scoring late in the game.

- We created more than enough offense to win but were very messy defensively. Lack played well in the first half of the game despite letting in 3 goals, but the last 2 goals were very weak and pretty much the difference.

- Sedin line combined for 6 points (7 if you count Vrbata's assist that came when he was out with the Sedins). They produced enough, obviously, but they could have had even more; lots of plays and passes that they messed up that they usually wouldn't.

- Baerstchi could have had a couple points in his first few shifts but he went quiet after that. He also took two penalties but one was a good one and the other was a soft call.

- Not a great game for the Edler - Tanev pairing, Weber may have been our best D-man and Sbisa - Bieksa again spent most of their time in our D-zone (albeit Bieksa did make a nice pass on Burrows's goal).

Only 3 games left, all at home. Kings visit on Monday, obviously the biggest game of the regular season.

Biggest game of the year tonight!

And I am going to the game! So pumped.

We really need this one..... both from a standpoint that we need the points to lock down that playoff spot and the morale boost of beating the cup champs when they are desperate would be a real feat.
