Why are we talking about McDavid in a game he didnt play in?
The hit on pavs was clean, hence no penalty. Domi (being an idiot member of the domi family) defended his teammate and paid the price which was 10 mins in the locker room.
I dont understand what you dont understand about all this?
Are you trying to say the hit should have been a penalty? Because it certainly shouldnt have and didnt. The hit was to the shoulder, dumba didnt leave his feet, etc.
Or are you trying to say that Domi shouldnt have gotten a penalty? Because he certainly should've and did. You don't get to start firing on other players just because a teammate took a (clean) hit...
It was how they handled penalties throughout the game. They got that call right after the review we could all see it was a clean hit but then they miss the most blatant calls the rest of the game.
I understand when a refs view is blocked or they just misjudge something but when Seguin got a stick to the face right in front of the ref it was a no call. Dadonov got tripped in front of the linemen and no call. Mind you the Stars had scored 2 PP goals in 9 seconds of PP time.
It was like the refs just put the whistle away and were scared to just "call the game as is".
My point about McDavid was that he ALWAYS gets the call. Some random 3rd/4th line guy not a chance.
I can guarantee that if McDavid got concussed and helped off the ice by teammates you'd see it differently.
McDavid is the Tom Brady of the NHL he's "unhittable" in the sense that you are more likely to be penalized hitting him then any other player in the league.
So what I was saying was if he got a high shoulder and wacked his head off the ice in Edmonton and a penalty WASN'T called I'd be very surprised. Preferential treatment is for pussies. That's what McDavid gets.
