Philly is close to the border. Probably the closest city.


i highly doubt we would get ryan but everybody keeps forgetting we can clear up 5m as soon as we ltir pronger u can go over the cap by 10% in the offseason iirc whiich is what like 6m?
if we were to trade vinny to the sens in the package thats 4.5m freed up as well ryan is @ 5.1 and yes i agree he will want a raise but 7m? if hes on philly we can prob nab him for like 6-6.5 we seem to get decent prices
he doesnt exactly have the greatest production numbers since leaving getzlafs wing if he wants 7m for 50 points... what a joke
+ we got some prospects who could end up in the roster soon enough i wouldnt be surprised to see hagg make a good push hes been playing vs men in sweden came over to play in ahl and seems to have done good

Bobby Ryan is gonna get stastny money. That's just where the market is nowadays, you're gonna see a lot of contracts in the $7 million range. Maybe if he was loyal to a team, which wouldn't happen after just one year in philly, he might take a pay cut to $6.5.
