vs LAK

- Played pretty well for the first two periods when it came to the territorial and possession game. Unfortunately, the Kings' chances were of higher quality and they capitalized. Once they scored 45 seconds into the 3rd period to make it 3-0, both teams played like the game was over.

- Lack was decent, didn't have to do much. Didn't have much of a chance on the first two goals against but a big save on the 3rd goal would have been nice.

- Sedin line again had a good cycle going for most of the game but are having trouble bringing the puck to the net.

- Vrbata was our best forward by a mile and Hansen had a decent game, too. Dorsett and Vey were bad and the rest of the forwards were meh.

- Tanev was excellent and Corrado and Stanton were again solid in a limited role.

- For some reason, Sbisa has reverted back to being terrible for the last two games.

Too bad tough game to lose for multiple reasons.

Kenins, Vrbata and Dorsett played hard imo
The rest played like they didn't care much or were like zombies

Dorsett was awful and took an awful penalty that led to the Kings first goal, which ended up being the winner.

Dorsett and Vey played the lowest minutes

It's a step in the right direction.

Just some general stuff I've been noticing:

- Like I've been saying, the Sedins + Kassian need to get more pucks at the net. They have two guys below the goal line and one guy on the half-boards which lets them cycle but playing along the boards isn't going to score you goals. One of them has to start rotating to the front of the net.

- Bonino seems to be struggling due to a lack of confidence. He's taking an extra second to make plays (both offensively and defensively) and it's leading to him getting checked before he can do what he wants.

- I have hope for Vey's future but him as the 4C doesn't work. He gets put with grinder wingers, which means the line has no identity. Will be a big boost if Higgins and Richardson can bump Dorsett and Vey out of the lineup.

- Edler and Hamhuis are still on the PP and it's so incredibly frustrating. Edler's offensive numbers, based on the ice-time he has received, are ridiculously awful in the last two seasons. How they keep going back to the same offensively inept D-men on the PP completely baffles and irritates me. They even put Corrado on the 2nd unit instead of Tanev...

- Wish we would fore-check harder like we did early in the season. Right now we sit back but we can't trap very well. Other teams are getting into our zone and staying there way too easily.

Yeah he took a bad penalty, but at least he was visible playing hard, others are like dump and afk
