i got a 1050ti and it ran the beta pretty good and iirc most settings were on high/max
i did have some frame drops but im not sure that was my pc as much as the server having issues cause after the first day or so it seemed to run way smoother
and even the recommended is a 1060 so yeah you could get a mid range 10 series and likely be fine if that card cant keep up

but your card beats minimum req but that might be to run low settings at 30fps or something
you might have to run like low settings and get like 50-60 fps or something

and the good thing about the 1050ti/1060 and stuff is they arent good to mine bitcoin with so the prices should be reasonable

Thoughts on a hockey community smiter?

We can have it on a separate account, everyone can donate items towards it whenever they find something useful, and that way we always have a smiter on hand to do ubers.

Also I don't know what the realms will be like in D2R but if it's the same as D2, remember to play US East. If it's the same as D3 then we'll all be under "The Americas".

Like in PD2, I can provide rushes and leveling once my Sorc is geared.

Pfft my melee sorc can Uber as fast as a smiter. Meph takes a bit longer though, but ain’t so bad.

i have a really cheap ghetto set up that i ran ubers with on hcl
i used some of the most commonly found botting items and nothing of value incase i died but i never did and i ran like 15 ubers and made same one next season and ran couple more

however i used barb BO with like lvl 35 shout/bo i also had an inventory loaded with resist charms like 25+ GCs 5+ SCs ect ect

dracs
tgods
rfrost
dwarf
gtoe

treachery for fade proc-shael thul lem
life tap wand+mosers with pdia for switch

i think you need something like +300 resists to have max resists in ubers with mephs aura on
but you can also use a higher lvl conviction aura and it cancels his out apparently but i never tried that

on softcore u could prob skip the charms and just run conv aura cause if u die its whatever rejoin the game
or just skip half the safetey net shit in general lol just run in with the ghetto set up and kamikazi it

ill probably eventually set up a smiter to run it if u guys need torches are usually one of the things that hold value the longest specially if you get a high pally or sorc torch

also for a "community smiter" whos buying d2r for that account? its not going to be like original d2 its linked to your bnet so you would need a whole separate bnet with the game
not to mention whos going to have the authenticator to let people log in ect ect

probably not worth it in the long run tbh

i dont think you need too anymore it was because of the 8 character limit which was upped to like 32 or something
unless you want a pocket bo or something but at that point you can create a 2nd bnet and buy d2r for it only difference its the price of a new game vs a $5 key
