i blame the flawed system than the department, like they can only act on thieves and addicts when they're literally doing the crime, but if it already has happened, there's not much they could do on the spot and catagorize it as priority 4 and report to priority 1/2 calls first.
The shittiest part is the addicts/thieves are mostly homeless and got nothing else to lose, so even if they're arrested on act of crime they'll go to jail and be like "sweet i got a place to stay with my own bed!" then once they're released, they'll do the exact same shit again on repeat lol. Everyone gets fucked regardless, wasting tax money on homing them in jails or out there continously stealing shit.
I get irritated from the road constructions, like when they're building new roads and shit... they waste SOOOOO much land, more materials than needed, yet still gets bottle necked and fucked. Asia is much more crowded with limited space, and they manage... how the fuck do we struggle as much as them during rush hours... inexcusable lol Like korea for example, seems like the dude that design the roads go over the plan as if he literally went to a school for it, and make it efficiently as possible to reduce much time possible, so even if there's like 99999x more people in certain point in time, it's not as fucked. Whereas in Vancouver, it seems like they just did whatever the fuck, we got x amount of budget to waste, let's just yolo and see how it goes. Oh damn, we still got 200k budget, let's just twirl and twist the road some more to make full use of the budget!!! herr derr
