Could always sign Roy then trade away a forward or two. That way you get a free forward (just money) and then assets back for the guys you trade :D

Need to get rid of Salvador and Harrold. Might get a bag of pucks for them.

Flyers are dumping vinnie for cap space. No way you're getting Ryan back without giving up two more guys with $3m+ contracts. You'll get a draft pick back at best, maybe an iffy prospect.
$3m over the cap right now.

Im aware Vinny will not notch Bobby in. But lets bring this Philly kid back to town ;)

Ryan was born in Cherry Hill, New Jersey[2] and grew up in Collingswood, New Jersey, a suburb of Philadelphia.

It's not just that Vinny won't notch Bobby in. It's that flyers CANNOT sign him without also giving up $6m in other contracts. Even then, he's gonna sign for $7m+ next year so they wouldn't be able to keep him with all of the re-signings coming up. Flyers would have to give up 2-3 of:

Voracek
Simmonds
Read
Streit
MacDonald
Coburn
Schenn

Is bringing the philly kid (even though he was born in NJ) back to town worth crippling your defense or getting rid of multiple of your best players? Flyers miss playoffs if you bring Ryan over, they can't handle his contract.

Philly is close to the border. Probably the closest city.

Never heard of Collingswood tbh. Philly is adjacent to the Delaware river that divides NJ and Penn. NJ side of.Delaware is Camden (lol). I suppose collingswood could be near there? Love that NJs shittiest cities are directly next to Philly and NYC. Guess that's what you get for dumping the waste of huge cities outside city limits (also explains why tavargod thinks NJ is a trash heap).
