imo its on purpose i think they coulda just missed each other if marchand didnt jump and stretch his hands out to hit duclair in the face
marchand coulda dipped a shoulder and easily skated behind him but even just skating normally i think they woulda bumped into each other at best

if its not on purpose marchands decision making is fucking terrible
