McMillan is the only forward who played less than Vrbata. Our leading goal scorer, who is good defensively, played the 2nd least.

Great usage. What a joke lol

Maybe he needs reduced minutes right now. It's a long season. There might be good reason for it.

We need to score goals and win games to get points or we miss the playoffs. Playing Vey, McMillan, Dorsett a lot against Getzlaf and Perry was not a good idea and we were lucky to come out with a win because of it.

- Thoroughly outplayed yet again. It took almost 50 minutes (when the Ducks tied it) for us to start playing properly.

- Lack was our best player for the 3rd straight game but he got lucky a few times, just like last game in San Jose.

- Sedins + Kassian had some decent offensive zone time but didn't create many chances as a unit. Good cycle but not much dangerous stuff in front of the net. Seemed like they were the only line that could stay out of the defensive zone for some shifts.

- Tanev was extremely solid in his return, as expected, and he seemed to help Edler's game, as expected.

- Hamhuis was good, especially because of the goal he helped create, but his partner Sbisa probably had one of his worst games in a while.

- The new Stanton - Corrado pairing played a pretty solid 15 minutes.

Out of the last 8 games, we've probably deserved about 3 points out of a possible 16 but we've come out with 11 because of timely scoring, timely goaltending and a lot of luck. Shouldn't have to apologize for these things, but I'm not a believer in "just win" because I don't think you can win this way for very long. Luck will only take us so far.

Most of the team is back now, though, so we'll see what we're made of. Absolutely huge game coming up as the Kings visit on Thursday.

Tanev >

Edler is mediocre without him.

Can't be bothered to make an account just to vote though.
