Imagine not making the playoffs because you couldn't beat a team trying to lose

I do hope the Flames get in over the Jets/Preds though those teams are boring and old as fuck

The problem is players and the coach not trying to lose

Preds sold hard at the deadline and has half their good players injured. If they pass both the Jets and Flames these two teams should just blow up their squads in the offseason.

I get what you are saying but I've watched the Jackets, Hawks, and Ducks just get bombed 40 shots to like 15 and they win because they score on an odd man rush after 2-3 minutes of being outplayed in every aspect of the game. They are giving 85%

You'll also notice these teams score in the first period and maybe even have a lead only to blow it in the 2nd and 3rd period badly.

When these teams make it to OT(clearly not want that 2nd point) and just sort of let the other team start cycling the puck in the 3 on 3 and boom game over. Goes to a shootout and guys miss the net badly?

One game I think it was the Jackets the shootout went like 3 whole rounds and the Jackets couldn't even get a shot on net(not kidding lol) and even the announcers of the game were like "which team really wants to win this game". Not the Jackets
