Why not? Great fit, IMO.

Went from the worst team to the 2nd worst, major improvement

Not sure I understand this. Vancouver is not a fit for him lol

He doesn't want to be in the east because of his wife.

He'll get the start times he wants in Van.

He'll get the deal/money he wants most likely.

Only thing is is we're not a contender but with Miller we could probably contend for 8th.

nah, even if miller is good the canucks really need to have a massive bounce back from top players

but if u get the goaltending from miller, you can absolutely be a fringe team, i don't think you'll make it, but if sedins produce 70 and your young guys produce and your top4 remain decent, why the hell not

Miller to Vancouver makes absolutely no sense for both parties. They may not even make playoffs let alone a cup. But Miller will make them good enough to finish 9-10 in their conference... so they wont even get a top 10 pick. Makes no sense.

He's almost 34, yes he had a good start to the season with Buffalo, but he's still on the decline.

He was the best goalie in the league up until the trade deadline, and the Blues' loss being solely blamed on him was totally unfair.

He wants to be in the West, that is his main priority. Vancouver is a great place for him and his wife to live, especially 'cause of her job.

The only other option he has is with the Sharks, and that's only if they trade Niemi, which might not happen.
