- Easily our worst game of the year. Lack absolutely stole the single point. We could not make or take a pass to save our lives and most of our good chances in the dangerous areas missed the net. Just baffling how bad the overall execution was. Constant turnovers leading to odd-man rushes against including like 4 in OT alone.

- Lack was amazing, can't really say much more than that. Would have been a blowout without him.

- Sedins had an off game but I thought Kassian was pretty strong in the o-zone in his limited minutes.

- Horvat had his worst game in a long time and his line didn't do much at all. Kenins didn't get much ice-time in the second half of the game.

- Vrbata was one of our few noticeable players but he missed a lot of chances. However he did tie it up late to send it into OT, so I can't complain. His line with Bonino and Dorsett was probably our best. If we had a true 2nd line skilled LW to play with Vrbata and Bonino, it could be a great line.

- The new line of Higgins - Matthias - Burrows didn't do much at all.

- Edler got worse as the game went on somehow, like he had some sort of opposite-rust thing going on. Weber was up and down as per usual and Stanton was bad.

- Hamhuis, Sbisa and Clendening were our better D-men. Hamhuis wasn't as solid as he has been but he did play 26 minutes. Sbisa and Clendening were consistently solid.

- They went away from the 1-3-1 PP again and I have no idea why... sigh.

I've actually become a pretty big Sbisa fan as of late after hating on him all season.

Would opposite rust also be known as fatigue, or is it something else altogether?

He's been extremely solid since like the all-star game. Easily one of our best and most consistent performers in that time.



I don't know what it was Usually a player starts off bad when he's coming back from injury. Edler looked good to start and then it sort of went downhill.
