Just had State Wars which is US roller championships... Watched Pat Maroon play a few games too. So big but so slow. I thought we'd get to play him when we faced Missouri but he was on another one of their 4 teams with his 2 brothers. They ended up winning it too I believe

In a dilemma this season :/ it's only 70 bucks for 8 games and playoffs but I'm so, so sick of losing every game because we don't have any kind of decent goalie. I really enjoy my teammates though and that's the only place I get to see them cuz the gym is a middle point, otherwise it's an hour drive to meet up.

Not keen in having to learn how to play with new teammates either. So if I quit I'm probably not playing any leagues for a few months.

tell the boys to play man on man, and take away all their chances to get quality shots by just swarming them when they have possession

Only maybe three of us had ever played hockey before a few seasons ago. So I would feel bad bailing but it's like playing with a team of preteens when the rest of the league played in college. Really wish there were an A-league and a B-league but there's just not enough interest in playing on a basketball court at a community center.

Doesn't help that one team has Finnish brothers who just rape everyone. They beat us 14-2 last time, and that wasn't their highest scoring game in that season.

Also again, we've been rotating goalies with zero experience.

yeah there really is no hope when there are no divisions based on skill

unless more people want to put teams in... but thats the tough part.

Quit my league today :/ our team all but disbanded, too many awful seasons. If we could have found a halfway decent goalie I don't think everyone would have burned out so hard.

its really had playing with friends that arnt good, or at least competitive.

we basically told my buddy to figure it out or you need to drop a division or 2

he didnt, we got some one else to play, he subs sometimes but meh
