I would just keep Mackinnon at RW; speed and explosiveness is mitigated when you play center. Keep him in an offensive role, at least while he's young.

Stastny is a perfect fit at 2C.

When he was in Toronto he'd try to go through the entire team like he was malkin. Ofc it never worked and would constantly give the puck away

He does that now, but he succeeds.

Contract talks with Stastny won't start tell the 20th of june. I want him resigned but I don't think it's going to happen
