I don't know man, the guy is so unproven. Time will tell if he's a great goaltender or one who's been playing well for a couple months

All the unproven players seem to be the ones that want to step up, at this point saying he’s unproven gives just as much credit

More guys play well for a stretch and fizzle out than are able to sustain great play. The guy came out of nowhere and has played well this season. It's foolish to think you've found the next Kipper after 30ish games

Didn’t say he was the next Kipper, just that we’ve had dogshit goaltending since he left, and Rittich is looking like money. He’s playing a ton of games now, and is extremely consistent so far, with Vezina finalist numbers. I think it’ll hold up. Also all players come out of nowhere before they make a name for themselves. Kipper was a nobody before that 04 flames run.

The parallels between kipper and this guy are actually kinda funny.
All I'm saying is Calgary has a complete team aside from a giant question mark in net. The guy is playing well, behind a good team and honestly only for 30ish games. I do think he's more likely to fizzle out than to bring home the cup. But yeah, if he can hold it together for another 60ish games that's all you need right

Never said there are parellels between him and Kipper ffs. Just that he’s the best goalie we’ve had since kipper rode off into the Suomi sunset.
