looks like we got kapanen and some rookies. so what you saying thats worth kessel?

Not saying the return was ideal butby the time we need his talent he wouldnt have it anymore or at least not 8mill worth. Trading him for prospects and picks makes sense

Wow.

11 draft picks next year

I'm looking forward to next year with so many. I'm somewhat excited about what my Leafs are doing right now, what the hell is wrong with me.

Marner, Nylander, Kapanen, Brown, Gauthier, Percy, Harrington, Finn, Laevo, Verhaege

We are a lot fucking deeper in prospects than people think.
Our rebuild may be faster than people think.

Not to mention Rielly, is going to be a top pairing D-Man.
If those guys pan out, we're laughing.

Why do you guys keep signing our reject forwards? :P Here's a little scouting report on Matthias:

- big body but not really physical
- strong skater in general, not just for his size
- defensively sound, works hard on the back-check
- will create opportunities around the net using his speed and size but doesn't have the offensive skills to put up big numbers (not a good shooter, passer or stick-handler)
- can play both C and LW
- scored at a ~28 point pace and it was considered a decent or even good season for him, I would expect 30 points max

if those guys pan out
half them are looking like busts nylander has had the same issues since his draft year and kapenen was a lost cause in pits thats why he was expendable
that gauthier guy has penalty issues if its the one im thinking of he prob ends up a bottom 6 role tops
harrington too lost cause in pits but stil lhas some potential

atleast you guys got marner he looks like a stud
even that dermott? guy he looked pretty solid in the wjc game thing yesterday i think they said hes a leafs prospect
maybe with the new staff you guys can develop them into something though who knows
