Lack to start. Desjardin said they thought about putting in Markstrom - plans to soon but wants to get Eddie on a roll and the feel for a #1 roll. + he deserves the start after Boston.

@ BUF

- We were in control for most of the game but gave up too many quality scoring chances. Get dominated by good teams and win, outplay a bad team and lose.

- Lack was very good again outside of the last goal he let in where he made a terrible decision to come out of his net and play the puck. The other goals against were definitely not on him and he made several big saves.

- No forward line really stuck out as the best. The 4th line of Higgins - Vey - Dorsett may have been the most consistent, with most of their shifts spent in the offensive zone.

- Horvat definitely had an off game, his first in a while.

- All the D-men played pretty well. They were a part of the play in the offensive zone and solid defensively. I thought almost all the scoring chances against were caused by dumb mistakes by the forwards.

Losing to two bad teams, especially Buffalo, puts a damper on what should be considered a successful road-trip. In the end, we can be happy with 6 out of 10 points considering the injuries we had.

We host the Blues on Sunday night. It'll be a tough game but we will hopefully have Edler and Tanev back.

McMillan waived.

Corrado should be in today. Don't know who gets scratched for him but it has to be Weber or Clendening.

Burrows should be in soon but I don't know if it's today.

Tanev is close but no word on Edler or Richardson.

Dorsett and Matthias switched lines at practice -_- I hope it just means Dorsett is there as a placeholder for Burrows... I hope.

Looks like we won't be doing anything at deadline outside of a possible depth move.

I would've liked to see at least one of Higgins or Matthias dealt. Matthoas could of got a good return with how expensive rentals are.

With the prices some teams have paid recently, trading Hamhuis, Bieksa and Higgins would be amazing for our future.

Might look back at this deadline in the future as a major missed opportunity.
