Sort of agree, there are many great coaches, but Babcock has the hardware to prove he is the best coach. He's won olympics, and a cup.
There's a reason there was so much hysteria around him for the past couple weeks.
He's not what the fix-all to our organization, but it's definitely a step in the right direction.

theres so much hysteria around him because leafs are in the market for a coach, and because hes canadian (toronto born). if he was american there wouldnt be nearly as much media coverage of this.

secondly, theres many coaches that can challenge his hardware. darryl sutter, quenneville. imo 2 stanley cups > 1 stanley cup and canadian olympic gold. i can probably coach canada to an olympic gold.

no doubt a step in the right direction. his best days are behind him imo. money will only keep him motivated for so long.

you obviously have no idea who babcock is, he's not one of those guys who signs somewhere just for the money lololololol

I think this might help our team, but I think we need a completely new roster, when I look at our team to others, I see no "superstar" factor :/ It makes me QQ
