You just look like a fucking tool, and lose respect from all the guys you played with and the coach. Selfish af. Demand a trade, fine, give it your all as a professional at least. They alrdy have good offers, its just matter of cbj accepting to do it during the season or end.

Personally I like seeing Dubois rot.

He is slacking off and Torts is punishing him for it.

That is what should be done. You don't set an example that being a whiny little bitch is going to get you what you want.

If the guy is a cancer to the team bench him. Who cares if he is a 3rd overall pick. You destroy a locker room if you set double standards.

One player is not the team, so he can either shape up and put in an honest effort like everyone else or collect dust. The choice is his.

The worst thing CBJ could do is fire Torts over his handling of this situation. That would open the door for other players to drag their ass.

Keep in mind Tort played a big role in turning CBJ from a bottom feeder into a team that upset far more skilled teams in the playoffs in recent years.

and as shitty as it is for a player to request a trade and go public about it i think if its something they want it should be done
they get drafted by a team and pretty much forced to sign and play there for years or go play overseas or request a trade its not a very good system and im surprised it doesnt happen more often
and i feel like there is always behind the scenes talks before a player goes public but its to the point of that the player is clearly sick of waiting because the teams asking too much and not being realistic

i can see both sides but cant really say i blame the player though as ive said they dont really have much in terms of "rights"

I only blame the player if he himself states he's gonna handle it and give it his best without causing any distraction to his teammates and others. Then goes 180 and does the complete opposite with such deliberate ass effort. We aren't even talking half assed effort lol, this is less than half

Laine of all fucking players is dealing it better than Dubois, he's actually trying harder than when he was a fortnite expert.

Can someone explain the Myers hit. The angles I saw he hits the guy square in the chest? Or maybe that’s my homer glasses? Also lol at the refs “reviewing” the hit on their iPads. They were showing what the refs could see and it was the angle from above on a tiny iPad screen lol.

I didnt see it live, but idk could go either way. As for the ipads, im with you, they really need bigger screens. I have a hard time seeing calls being made correctly on my television, and they expect these refs to review plays on a tiny ass screen. That goes for football and basketball too. Abaolutely ridiculous.

look im not saying dubois is in the right here but i dont think hes in the wrong either
different people in different situations react differently maybe he sees the ridiculous amount they are asking and figured he can force the issue by not trying getting benched and costing them a roster player

a trade in this covid shit is garbage cause its like 2 weeks quarantine ect ect and missing 2 weeks is huge in such a condensed schedule i can see why the team would rather wait on a trade
but at this point its probably better to trade him now and end out as strong as you can then deal with it later on or just scratch him all season and be down a player do the trade take the quarantine hit and be done with it
