this is what i think the pairings would be like at the beginning of the season mostly because those guys are getting paid a good amount more than vatanen. maybe there's a trade in the works for allen/fistric for picks or something else. i still would like to have a left winger. i dunno, shit is fun to think about and there's still lots of cap room
I just think fistric/allen/souray are all interchangeable in my opinion. Allen played really well defensively in the playoffs, blocking shots, getting infront of passing lanes, etc. But his lack of speed/offensive mindset hurt. Ducks need better puck moving defense-man in my opinion that can jump into the rush and create odd man rushes, you know?
I agree though, I think we should dish one of them off for future draft picks and make a push to grab a decent LW.
