Dunno about his stats, but he seems to try and put effort almost every games. Maybe its just me, but if I compare him to, lets say Bourque, Eller just put way more effort into his play and is more physical aswell.

He had a good 10 first games this season then disappeared on the 3rd line. He is a 3rd line center, but I'm expecting more points.

What's really keeping him under the radar is his 1.3 million dollar salary + he's not playing with the best wingers imo

the whole team hasnt been scoring in the last 10-12 games

He plays almost entirely defensive role. He had both his wingers taken away from him and replaced with Prust/Bourque. He should realistically be getting the PP time DD was given all year but Therrien has a DD boner. It will be fine long term as long as Bergevin recognizes keep Eller trade DD. Eller will be cheaper with the shitty role he's been given this year.

DD been playing well the last 20-25 games

with 60% offensive zone starts and all our PP time and sheltered ES minutes against opposing teams third pairings. No contender in the league has a "#1 center" who needs that much sheltering to be literally the least productive "#1 center" in the league.

Well Diaz gone to Vancouver for Dale Weise.

Diaz was good but there was no room for him here. Dale Weise... right winger that racks up PIM and a few points. Guess it's ok
