Giroux being left off Team Canada was a complete joke.

Easily should have been picked over Kunitz and crybaby St. Louis.

don't forget clarkson.. #1 NHL forward in the entire league, crosby just got lucky.

giroux is such a versatile and complete player he coulda played wing or center on any line really he was a winger flyers made him a center and he became a damn good one at that but he could prob still play wing pretty good
honestly the way giroux plays and creates a lot of his offense is from along the boards... i think giroux would do just as good as a winger maybe even better tbh lol

he got left of canada becasue of a bad start they didnt want to risk it or w/e and yzerman had to homer pick MSL although it didnt do him a lot of good
also if crosby has enough say/pull to get kunitz on team canada hes prob got enough say to keep giroux off... and we all know crosby cant stand giroux

MSL played like 5 minutes in important games

he sat the whole USA game

that's a lot easier for a veteran than someone like Giroux

but Yzerman/Babock had a set team without MSL/Giroux/Duchene

they were just fillers

Out of all players in the league he is probably top 15. A top 5 center, yes, but top I would not agree with him being a top 5 overall player.
