Virtanen heating up after an (expected) slow start.

McCann, Cassels and Subban continue their solid seasons in the OHL.

Demko is having a very good season in college. Hutton and McNally are doing just "okay". Unfortunately McNally will miss the rest of the season with an injury.

The AHL prospects are a little concerning, though:
- Corrado didn't have a good season last year and wasn't amazing with Utica this season but has been awesome for us, so I can't complain.
- Gaunce and Shinkaruk aren't having great seasons but are making strides. No need to panic, it's their first pro season.
- Jensen on the other hand, is very worrisome. At this point he should be putting up good numbers in the AHL but it's just not happening. Getting closer and closer to bust status He still has hope but time's running out.

It would really suck if both Jensen and Shinkaruk (both 1st rounders) end up busting.

And that is why we didn't take confidence from the Buffalo game.

Couldn't create shit until Daniel's goal which was like 55 minutes into the game (Kenins's goal doesn't even count as a scoring chance).

Bright spots for the game:
- Kenins's first career NHL goal
- Tanev, Edler, Hamhuis and Corrado were all solid
- Matthias - Bonino - Hansen line played pretty well but couldn't produce



Kassian was scratched for Kenins even though his last 2 games were decent... head-scratcher.

Idk. Hard for a player to prove anything when he's not even given a chance.

Management tells him he needs to be a PWF. He creates Horvat's goal against Buffalol by driving the net and taking the puck to the net. Gets scratched next game.

Yeah, the coaching decisions recently when it comes to scratches and PP personnel have been questionable for sure. Getting annoying.
