The building I live in supplies internet for like 400 people. The wireless fluctuates from 0.5 to 6 depending on the hour, but using an ethernet cable makes it a steady whopping 80

So I'm doing my quasi-monthly "I'm bored" night and I decided to look up neanderthals and I got to thinking, within 10-15 years we as humans will have brought the mammoth back to life, and possibly reintroduce it to the wild. Now mammoths surivved past Neanderthals (Who were probably absorbed by us, most humans if you're not black have a small but significant 4% of Neanderthal DNA in us), why can't we bring Neanderthals back? All evidence points to them being as intelligent as modern humans, they were merely adapted for cold enviroments.

So I googled it and found out there's lots of information on it. Apparently there's ethical concerns because they're human as well, and human cloning is a difficult subject for many, so how can you justify banning modern human cloning but not neanderthals?

Don't ask me why I decide to look these things up. It just draws me when I'm bored.

maybe I got that Neanderthal DNA then. I never get cold and overheat easily. Everyone thinks im nuts wearing shorts year round.

Almost every single human of non-African origin has between 1-4% Neanderthal DNA apparently.

They didn't interbreed with any other species of homo sapien. Those in Europe/Eurasia absorbed Neanderthals and certain South Asians interbreeded with a warm climate adapted neanderthal like subspecies.
