Smith’s days in the NHL should be over pretty soon. He’s junk.

Neal overheard yelling at Smith heading off the ice to “make a fucking save”, second game in a row they’ve gotten into it, lel rip.

Neal’s not wrong though, Smith is reason we require all those 3rd period goals. So many soft goals by him. Rittich should get equal start now at least. Ask about Saros or something too.

This entire season I've been waiting for Smith to regain his form, so I definitely agree with you. He is costing us games and making some games that should be easy wins turn into massive 3rd period comebacks. I just dont think there's really a better option out there right now. Saros has looked good in limited action but backup goalies are tough to project. He's playing behind the best defense corps in the NHL. Just as likely to get a Bernier as you are to get a Anderson or Talbot.
